Ashadevi is a theatre actress, director, scriptwriter and translator based in Ernakulam, Kerala.
She has done MA and M Phil in theatre.
She has received the best actress award from Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi on 2008, a senior fellowship from the central cultural ministry on 2018.
She has directed many plays including ‘Broken images’ by Girish Karnad, ‘Achchammakku Sambavichathu’ by K.R. Meera, ‘Open Couple’ by Dario Fo, ‘One Was Nude and One Wore Tail’ by Dario Fo, ‘Chakka’ by Thuppettan, ‘Ithu Josephinte Kadha Annayudeyum’ by Gracy
‘Madhya Dharanyaazhi’ by Joy Mathew and also worked as an associate director with T M Abraham for the play ‘Death and the Maiden’.
She is a B high drama artist in All India Radio, Thiruvananthapuram and A grade speaker in films division, Mumbai.
As a dubbing artist, she has worked with around 3000 ads, around 250 documentaries and many numbers of Malayalam and Hindi films.
She has conducted so many acting workshops, especially for ladies and girls.
